Portuguese club Braga last evening announced that it had closed a kit deal with Hummel that will see the iconic Danish brand replace previous supplier Lacatoni.
The Hummel x Braga kit deal will run for an initial four seasons, and will include all of the club's teams from the first-team down to the youth ranks.
António Salvador, President of SC Braga, had the following to say about the new partnership: "To improve, we need the best partners. Hummel, being an international brand, identified SC Braga as a club that does not deny its local base, but is simultaneously one of the biggest of Portugal[...]"
Natalia Jiménez, CEO of Hummel for Spain and Portugal: "We could not be more enthusiastic about this agreement. We are now linked with SC Braga, one of the great Portuguese clubs, with a big history of European football and which is constantly present in the UEFA competitions. But it's also a club that, in addition to the sporting side, has values with which we feel very identified. We're convinced that this is the beginning of a long and fruitful journey".
The inaugural Hummel Braga kits are set to be released in early July.
