Reports from Italy suggest that Adidas will become the new technical sponsor of AS Roma from the 23-24 season. Il Tempo say that the deal will be second most valuable in Italy, only behind Juventus' 8 year, €408 million contract with the German brand.

Roma to Sign Adidas Kit Deal
Roma only recently switched kit makers, changing from Nike to New Balance in 2021 with an initial two year agreement. If these reports are to be believed, this season's kits from NB will be the last they make for i Giallorossi, before Adidas take over in 2023.
The club previously wore Adidas gear in the early 90s, with the partnership producing some bona fide classics that will almost certainly be referenced or even remade during their second stint together. In manager Jose Mourinho and new number 21, Paulo Dybala, Adidas already have two star names at Roma to front the promotional campaigns.
Roma's owners, the Friedkin Group, are aiming to have their club compete with the best in Europe, both on the field and off it. As well as the deal with Adidas, plans to upgrade the stadium are being discussed, with an ideal opening date earmarked for 2026 or 2027, coinciding with the club's centenary.
The length of the potential contract with Adidas has not yet been reported, but it would be a safe bet that it will be longer than the two year deal they currently have with New Balance.
