Umbro will release the second-generation of the Medusae football boot on July 21. The debut colorway of the brand's first-ever (partly) knitted cleat is blue and yellow.

A setup that's been popular not just since the Puma evoTOUCH debuted last year, the Umbro Medusae II combines leather and knit for the upper.
The debut colorway is blue for the most part, with yellow trim and accents along the sides, in the tongue area and the studs.

They feature a half k-leather, half mesh upper that is combined with a one-piece knit tongue and collar solution. Umbro's trademark 'A-Frame' structure in the midfoot stays and should further help to provide lockdown.
According to Umbro, the knit allows for a reduction of weight while improving stability. The Umbro Medusae II Elite boots weigh in at a mere 185 grams.
The sole plate remains unchanged compared to the first gen of the Umbro Medusae and is essentially still the same as on the Velocita.
The Umbro Medusae II Elite cleats will be available from July 28, retailing at EUR 220.
