Adidas 2025 MLS All-Star Kit - Prototype vs Final

The prototype for the Adidas 2025 MLS All-Star kit featured an off-white base with a subtle fireworks-inspired pattern. Its most striking feature was the iridescent finish applied to the Adidas logo, the MLS crest, and the three shoulder stripes, creating a shimmering, multi-colored effect.

The officially released version of the Adidas 2025 MLS All-Star kit sees a significant change in creative direction. While the subtle fireworks pattern on the fabric remains, the flashy iridescent detailing has been completely removed.

Instead, Adidas and MLS have opted for a design that incorporates the traditional MLS colors of green and blue. The final jersey features a green Adidas logo, a light blue MLS crest, and unique split-color shoulder stripes – one side green and the other blue.

It's unclear why the final design was changed so drastically, but it's possible that Adidas and the league ultimately preferred a look that was more aligned with the traditional identity of Major League Soccer over the more experimental iridescent prototype.
