Since they are already available to buy for some days, let's take a look at all the different editions Adidas released for the third generation of the Ace, from the attention-grabbing 17+ PureControl to the lesser known versions.
Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl
Worn by the likes of Paul Pogba and Mesut Özil, the €300 Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl is by far the most eye-catching and modern boot available in the 2017 Adidas Ace range. It's also the only one to feature a Boost insole.
Adidas Ace 17.1 Primeknit
Retailing at €50 less than the PureControl is the Ace 17.1 Primeknit, which offers the comfort of traditional lacing.
Adidas Ace 17.1 Leather
Also and only available in the 17.1 range is the Leather edition. It combines kangaroo leather in the forefoot area with knit in the rear, aiming to offer the best of both worlds. It comes as FG and SG version and retails at €220.
Adidas Ace 17.2 Primemesh
Next up is the Adidas Ace 17.2 Primemesh, featuring, as its name says, a Primemesh upper. It retails at €130.
Adidas Ace 17.3 Primemesh
Retailing at €80, the Adidas Ace 17.3 Primemesh is available for no less than five ground types.
Adidas Ace 17.4
Last in the list is the Adidas Ace 17.4 - retailing at €55, it doesn't have a lot in common with its 'peers'.
