Every New FIFA Competition Logo "Looks the Same"

In recent months and years, FIFA has unveiled new logos for three major competitions - the Men's Intercontinental Cup, Men's Club World Cup 25, and Women's Champions Cup - but the designs have drawn immediate criticism for their striking similarity.

FIFA's New Logos Face Criticism for Lack of Differentiation

All three logos share the same gold color palette and utilize near-identical circular geometric patterns with subtle variations, making them difficult to distinguish at a glance despite representing distinct tournaments.

This uniform design raises questions about FIFA's new branding direction and whether the homogeneous look dilutes rather than strengthens the identity of these prestigious global competitions.

Men's and Women’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Logos

The new 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup emblem draws inspiration from the Brazilian flag and the geometry of a football pitch, combining the letters “W” and “M” to reference women and the world in both English and Portuguese. Alongside the emblem, FIFA introduced the “GO EPIC” slogan and a samba-influenced sonic identity designed to be used across broadcasts and digital platforms.
