Following the launch of the new Napoli 2025-2026 home and away kits by EA7 last night, a rather embarrassing and careless error has been spotted on the authentic badge of the new jerseys.

Napoli 25-26 Home Kit Features Typo on Authentic Badge

The EA7 Napoli authentic badge, located at the hem of the jersey and designed to verify it as a player-issue product, features a significant spelling mistake. The word "Authentic" has been misspelled as "Autenthic".
This unfortunate typo has been printed on the badges of both the new home and away kits.
Napoli Removes Images From Store
In response to the error being discovered online, the official Napoli online store has since removed the close-up images that clearly showed the misspelled badge from their product listings. This action suggests that the club and EA7 are now aware of the mistake.
It is currently unknown how many thousands of jerseys have been produced with this error. The faulty shirts could either be recalled or potentially become unintentional "collector's items" for some fans.
This is a truly careless and forgettable error from EA7. For a major European club's kit launch, ensuring basic spelling is correct on an 'authenticity' badge should be the absolute minimum.
