15 years ago, in 2004 ahead of the EURO 2004 in Portugal, Nike released a new generation of the Nike Total 90 football boot - the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 III.

The third-generation of the Nike Air Zoom T90 series was worn by Luis Figo, Francesco Totti, Rio Ferdinand, Roberto Carlos and Wayne Rooney.

The upper of the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 III football boots is made from soft and supple ultra-lightweight KNG-100. A synthetic leather-like material that gives supreme comfort, fit, ball feel and touch. The boot featured a new asymmetrical integrated lacing system. The stability was increased with a new external heel counter.

The midsole is made from Nike injected phylon that reduces all stud pressure to the foot. The added Heel Zoom Air unit maximises comfort and protection levels.

The outsole of the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 III football boots was designed to provide maximum traction and stability on all pitch conditions. The soft ground sole unit features six detachable studs.
