English Premier League club Aston Villa are set to become the next English club to sign a kit deal with Under Armour, according to reports of 'The Mirror'. Under Armour currently makes the kits for Tottenham, while they are also set to sign a long-term deal with Southampton.
Macron has been making Aston Villa's kits for the past four years after they signed a record-breaking £15 million kit deal which back then replaced previous shirt manufacture Nike.
Aston Villa's Kit Deal Includes Significant Financial Reductions in the Event of Relegation
The Mirror reports that the possible Under Armour Aston Villa kit deal would bring the English Premier League club a major boost. However, the newspaper also disclosed that the 'lucrative deal includes significant financial reductions in the event of relegation.'
Additionally, the Mirror revealed that the new Under Armour Aston Villa Jersey Deal was lined up by Villa CEO Tom Fox, who also managed to broker Arsenal's £170m kit deal with Puma in 2013 when at Arsenal.
