Serie A club Torino today officially presented the special-edition green jersey to be worn this weekend against Atalanta to remember the horrible plane crash suffered by Brazilian side Chapecoense a little over a year ago.
Torino themselves fell victim to a similarly devastating tragedy in 1949, when the impressive 'Grande Torino' side disappeared in a plane crash. Having won 5 consecutive Serie A titles and managed the astonishing feat of supplying 10 of 11 players for the national team, many of Grande Torino' records stand to this date.

Combining two shades of green, the Torino Chapecoense remembrance kit is dark green with a huge bull print towards the bottom in a lighter shade of the color. "Uniti dal destino" (United by destiny) is written on the inside neck of the jersey.
During Torino-Atalanta, on Saturday December 2nd, Belotti and the team will be wearing Chapecoense’s green shirt on the pitch. A shirt produced in a limited edition of 1500 items that will be on sale in Granata Stores and Kappa stores; part of the proceeds will be donated to the families of the victims of the plane crash. To remember and be tangibly close to them.
