Nike Takes Lead in Top-Scoring Football Boot Of Euro 2020

Nike has taken the lead in the battle for the top goal-scoring football boot of the UEFA Euro 2020 after the second round of matches.

Nike Players Scored More Than 50% Of The Goals In First 24 Euro 2020 Matches

After the second round of matches, Nike leads the race with more than 50% of all goals (52% - 26 of 50). Adidas comes second with 19 goals, while Puma's players have (just) scored 3 goals.

What is interesting is that Nike's share of goals also exactly meets the share the brand has in total of all players (51.5). Puma is successful than their share (6% of goals but 12% of players), while Adidas is a bit more successful than their share (34% of players but 38% of goals).

With Memphis Depay scoring in Netherlands' match against Austria, Under Armour now has also one goal in UEFA Euro 2020 (Memphis is wearing UA boots despite not having a contract).

In terms of silos, the Mercurial is by far the most successful, followed by the Adidas X and Phantom GT. In fact, Mercurial players scored just one goal less than all Adidas players in total.
