PSG 16-17 Home Kit Released

The new Paris Saint-Germain home kit introduces a design that is both traditional and new. Made by long-term PSG jersey supplier Nike, the new PSG 16-17 shirt was launched today and is set for a debut in the last game of the season this weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain 16-17 Home Kit

This is the new Nike PSG 2016-2017 home shirt.

Based on Nike's new AeroSwift jersey template, the PSG home shirt is dark blue, with the sleeves offset in a slightly darker shade of the color. The Paris Saint-Germain 2016-17 keeps the iconic "Hechter" kit design, named after fashion designer and former club president Daniel Hechter who originally conceived it. In a modern twist, the red-and-white center block consists of 14 red and two white pinstripes on the new Nike Paris Saint-Germain 2016-2017 kit.

Odes to club pride appear on both the interior and exterior of the shirt. “Paris” is knit into the back collar, which also features an original woven signature stripe. “Grandeur” and “Passion,” two of the club’s stated core values, adorn the inside cuffs and are also represented by the home palette: blue for grandeur and red for passion.

In terms of sponsors, the Fly Emirates logo can be seen on the front of the Paris Saint-Germain 2016-17 home jersey, while the QNB (Qatar National Bank) writing remains on the left sleeve. Ici c'est Paris (This is Paris) is written on the inside of the new Paris Saint-Germain shirt.

Navy Shorts and unique socks complete the new PSG kit.
