Bohemian FC's new 2026 home jersey was released this evening, and it is different from most other modern football kits.

The O'Neills Bohemian FC 2026 home football shirt is inspired by the club’s 1976 cup-winning shirt and released in memory of Billy Young. The O'Neills Bohemian FC 2026 home shirt follows the look of the original 1976 design, featuring a full red body, stitched black three stripes, and retro O’Neill’s and Des Kelly logos, recreated in cooperation with both partners.
The shirt features 3 stripes, even though it is not made by Adidas. Why? O'Neills incorporated three stripes into their jerseys in Ireland ahead of Adidas (even though their shirts come with varying stripe counts). They now offer a two-stripe international collection because they are unable to sell the three-stripe jerseys outside Ireland.
The crest is also based on the version used at the time. It is colorless and half-transparent and therefore not greatly visible.
The O'Neills Bohemian FC 2026 home football shirt includes several tribute details, including collar tape with “Dalymount” in Irish and English and an embroidered hem tag featuring Billy Young’s name and signature.
The O'Neills Bohemian FC 2026 home football shirt will go on sale at midday on December 18, both online and at The Bohs Store in Glasnevin. Its later-than-usual release follows a full redesign carried out after confirmation that 2026 will be the final season at Dalymount.
