MLS & Adidas Launch 2025 "One Planet" Pre-Match Jerseys for Earth Day

Major League Soccer and official league partner Adidas have unveiled the 2025 One Planet Kit collection. Released as part of the league's annual "Greener Goals Week of Service," these special pre-match tops will be worn league-wide around Earth Day (April 22nd) to highlight MLS's ongoing commitment to addressing its environmental impact.

The Adidas MLS 2025 "One Planet" jerseys are designed to be worn by participating MLS teams during pre-match warm-ups for the game round coinciding with Earth Day. According to the league, the initiative aims to celebrate "taking a step towards carbon neutrality while raising awareness of climate transformation and the need to change human behavior."

The design itself is built upon Adidas's new base template for the 2025-2026 season and comes in two primary monochromatic colorways: beige and gray, distributed among the teams. The distinctive front prints "symbolize the vital connection to embracing a more conscious way of life." A key design element, woven into the pattern, features the rings of ancient trees. This detail is meant to "convey the passage of time and illustrate the profound impact of climate change through the years."

It's important to note that the three Canadian MLS clubs (CF Montréal, Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC) and New York City FC will not be wearing these specific "One Planet" pre-match tops as part of this particular league-wide initiative.

The MLS "One Planet" pre-match jerseys are available for purchase at mlsstore.com.
