Adidas has teamed up with FC Bayern Munich players Alaba and Gnabry as well as students of the USC Iovine and Young Academy to release the first-ever FC Bayern Munich shoe produced in Adidas' Speedfactory. The shoe is called "Adidas SPEEDFACTORY AM4 FC Bayern".
Some weeks ago, students of the USC Iovine and Young Academy were tapped by Adidas for a special footwear design competition, teaming up with footballers David Alaba and Serge Gnabry to come up with FC Bayern–inspired designs for the Three Stripes' Speedfactory.
Two teams ("Gnabry vs Alaba") designed their favorite FC Bayern Munich shoe. The Alaba design was chosen as the winner following a public vote and, as a result, now saw a limited release.
Adidas SPEEDFACTORY AM4 FC Bayern Shoes
The Adidas Speedfactory AM4 FC Bayern shoes utilize the Adidas Speedfactory AM4 as a base. They are red, white and blue as a nod to Bayern's 2019/20 UEFA Champions League (third) kit.
Alaba's cleat has a pixelated navy-to-white gradient along with bright red branding.
Tech-wise, the Adidas Speedfactory AM4 FC Bayern München shoes are the same as regular editions of the Speedfactory AM4. The AM4 is the first Adidas sports shoe developed in the manufacturer's "Speedfactory".
