AC Milan wore an alternate away kit ensemble last night, pairing their white away shirt with black shorts in their Serie A opener for a nicely balanced look.
Milan Alternate Away Kit Combo
AC Milan won 2-0 away at Bologna last night in their first game of the 23-24 Serie A season, and they debuted a great looking kit combo in the process. Their classy white away shirt with its off-centre red and black stripe is designated to be worn with white shorts, but to contrast against the home team's white lower half, Milan opted for the black shorts of their home strip.
The resulting look is arguably more appealing than the standard all-white kit that they have worn in pre-season and will wear regularly throughout the campaign. There's no greater colour contrast than black on white, and the coloured accents of the shirt are balanced brilliantly by the addition of the dark shorts. Clean and simple.
