Adidas has released the lowest-tier "Fan" version of the new Manchester United 2025-26 home kit. This "takedown" jersey is a heavily simplified design that strips away nearly all the bespoke details found on the authentic and replica versions.

The takedown version of the Adidas Manchester United 25-26 home football shirt is so minimalist that it almost looks like a completely different shirt. Compared to the authentic and replica versions, the following design elements have been removed:
- Collar: The unique striped design is replaced with a simple black round neck collar.
- Sleeve Pattern: The subtle graphic pattern on the sleeves is completely absent.
- Side Panels: The modern side cut is gone, replaced with a standard t-shirt cut.
- Back Neck Detail: The "Theatre of Dreams" sign-off on the back has been removed.
- Crest: Unlike the authentic version which uses premium materials, and the replica which features embroidery directly on the fabric, this one only uses a thin decal sticker
The result of these simplifications is a jersey that has the look and feel of a basic red Adidas t-shirt, just with the club crest and sponsor logos applied. While it offers a more affordable price point for fans, it lacks the unique design features of the main kit.
This release confirms that Adidas is continuing its three-tiered kit strategy (Authentic, Replica, Fan) for its major club teams, following the same approach used for the Euro 2024 national team kits.
