Destroyed By Sponsor & Red Numbers - 'Fixed' Newcastle United 19-20 Home Kit

The new Puma Newcastle United 2019-2020 home kit was released this morning. It introduces a classy design (very closely) inspired by kit worn by the Magpies during 1969 when they won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.

Newcastle United 19-20 Home Kit Released

Fixed Puma Newcastle United 2019-2020 Home Kit Without Sponsor & Fitting Numbers

The first bad thing of the Newcastle United 2019-2020 kit is the blue Fun88 logo in the center of the shirt, which destroys the clean look. Without it, as sold by the club in kids sizes as betting sponsors are not allowed on children kits, it looks much cleaner.

The second unfavorable thing about the Newcastle United 2019-2020 home kit are the numbers - they are red on the shirt as and not sky blue as the official Premier League numbers are just available in five different color combos.

As mentioned above, the Puma Newcastle United 2019-20 home kit without the sponsor is sold in Kids' sizes. The Kids version retails at 50 GBP. The numbers are not available in different colors anywhere, logically.

The third strange thing about the kit is that it is actually inspired by the 1969 kit but comes with a totally different stripes number. The only element that is similar is the collar.

What do you think of the Puma Newcastle United 2019-2020 home jersey? Should the club release a sponsorless version? Do you also think it is a pity that the Premier League numbers are available in just five different colors? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
