Has the 26-year old player worn the next-generation Adidas Copa 19.1 football boot in training?

Close-up pictures of the blackout boots worn by Thomas Meunier in training reveal that they have Three Stripes and a leather upper. However, while you might first think that he is wearing next-generation Adidas Copa 19.1 football boots, they are just the current-gen Adidas Copa 18.1

Pictures from PSG's league matches reveal that he also wore black / red Adidas Copa 18.1 football boot in some matches, as well as the blackout version of the cleats.

Thomas Meunier laced up in the Adidas X 18.1 football boots in the 2018 World Cup. The Belgian could also wear the next-generation Adidas Copa 19 soccer cleats that are set for a release in early 2019, even though that is anything but certain yet. It is also possible that he will leave the Three Stripes.

High-profile players who are expected to wear the next-gen Adidas Copa are Toni Kroos (traditional laces version) and Paulo Dybala (laceless version).
