In time for the start of the 24-25 UEFA Champions League, New Balance Football this week introduced the latest editions of its two main football boots—the Furon and Tekela. They form the Power Surge Pack.
Rising star Endrick debuted the New Balance Tekela Power Surge football boots in this week's UEFA Champions League. Endrick became the youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer during his debut, scoring the third goal in Madrid's 3-1 victory over Stuttgart while wearing the new Power Surge Tekelas. In addition to Endrick, the Power Surge Pack will be worn by top players, including Bukayo Saka, Raheem Sterling, Eberechi Eze, Michelle Cooper, and Jordyn Huitema in their upcoming fixtures.
New Balance 2024-2025 Power Surge Soccer Cleats Collection - Furon v7+ and Tekela v4+
The New Balance 2024-2025 Power Surge soccer boots boast a striking blue, orange, and silver colorway - the blue and silver greatly match the Champions League colors, while the orange adds a fresh touch and also matches the Europa League colors.
The colors greatly match the Champions League theme
Both boots feature a labyrinth graphic on the heels, symbolizing the twists and turns of the European tournaments throughout the season.
New Balance Tekela 4+ Power Surge Pack
The New Balance Tekela 4+ Power Surge Pack football boots combine a deep blue base with orange and silver.
Tech-wise, the New Balance Tekela 4+ is designed for control and precision. It features a Hypoknit upper and nylon outsole with conical and TPU angled rim studs for improved multi-directional traction. It's available in both laceless and low-laced models.
New Balance Furon 7+ Power Surge Pack
The New Balance Furon 7+ Power Surge Pack football boots invert the colors - they are mainly orange with blue and silver.
The New Balance Furon 7+ is made for speed-focused attackers. They have a supportive Hypoknit upper, off-set lacing for cleaner strikes, and V-shaped studs to enhance performance on firm ground.
Endrick prefers the control silo, even though the speed silo is a better fit on the paper
Interestingly, the speed-focused Furon would actually fit Endrick better, but the Brazilian apparently prefers the more regular-designed Tekela.
The New Balance Power Surge football boots will be available starting September 24th, priced at £220 (UK), €230 (EU), and $215 (US) from selected retailers and online at New Balance Football.
