Dortmund to Carry Over 24-25 Third Kit For 25-26 Season

Update: Dortmund's recent photoshoot for the FIFA Club World Cup has confirmed that the Vodafone logo will appear in red on the 2025-26 third kit (carried over from the 2024-25 season).

Footy Headlines can leak that Dortmund have decided to carry over their 2024-25 third kit to become their 2025-26 third kit, with a change in the front-of-shirt sponsor. The Vodafone logo, however, will break up the look, due to its red color (Vodafone's logo will only be friendly recolored on the yellow kits).

Dortmund 25-26 Third Kit

The new Puma Dortmund 25-26 third football shirt is carried over from last season. It will, of course, retain the same design, but the sponsor logo will change - Vodafone's logo will appear in black, replacing the 1&1 Ionos sponsor.

Carrying over the third kit is a strategy Borussia Dortmund have used in the past. They previously carried over their 2020-21 third kit to become their 2021-22 third kit.

It won't happen, but we also imagined how the BVB kit would look with the Vodafone logo in black.

Dortmund 25-26 Kits

This decision means Borussia Dortmund will effectively have a lineup of four distinct match kits for the regular 2025-2026 campaign, plus a special kit coming in early 2026.
