White, Solar Gold and Shock Pink. The first-ever Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit Women's Boots paint job introduces a fresh design for the next generation of the Adidas Ace Primeknit Cleats, set to be released in February 2016.
In January 2016, Adidas launched the second generation of the Adidas Ace Boots with the unveiling of the laceless Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl. Featuring a knitted upper from heel to toe for ultimate ball control and comfort, the next-gen Adidas Ace 16+ Primeknit Boot introduces the techfit collar to the Adidas Ace Primeknit after the first generation of the knitted cleats featured a traditional low-cut ankle design.
Adidas Ace 16+ Primeknit White / Solar Gold / Shock Pink
This is the first-ever Adidas Ace Primeknit Women's Cleat paint job.
Combining a white base with big yellow-and-black Three Stripes, the women's paint job of the Adidas Ace 16 Primeknit Boots introduces a clean design for the knitted control boot, especially compared to the Solar Green and Shock Pink launch colorway of the silo. However, Adidas breaks up the white, yellow and black design with striking 'Shock Pink' applications and studs.
Even though the white, black and yellow Adidas Ace Primeknit 2016 Boot Colorway is a Women's exclusive release, the Adidas Ace 16+ Primeknit Women's Cleats offer the same tech features as the Men's version. Knitted from heel to toe, the Adidas Ace 2016 Primeknit Boots are made for comfort and ball control while featuring a techfit collar for more lockdown and a sock-like feel.
The next-gen white Adidas Ace 2016 Primeknit Women's Boot Colorway also introduces a totally new sole plate design for the boot, ditching the previous FG / AG Hybrid sole plate altogether. Whereas the first-gen Adidas Ace Boots featured almost endless conical studs with a second level of cleats for increased ball control, the next-gen Adidas Ace 2016 Boots come with 11 traditional conical studs and an external heel counter for more stability and speed.
The White / Solar Gold / Shock Pink Adidas Ace Primeknit 2016 Women's Boot Colorway retails at the same price as the Men's version of the cleats (250 Euro, 250 USD, 225 GBP) and will be available from early February 2016 at selected retailers up to Women's size 12 (EU 42).
We would love to see this colorway available in all sizes. What do you think of the first-ever Adidas Ace 16+ Primeknit Women's Boots? Let us know in the comments section below, and check out what Adidas has to offer in 2016 in our Boot Calendar.
