When the Adidas Predator Precision remake finally launched this week and sold out within minutes at every place they were available at, many fans were disappointed. However, Adidas could have easily prevent that if they just would have produced more pairs of the boots...
Adidas Predator Precision Limited to 2,500 Pairs Globally?
This image by Soccer Cleats 101 reveals that Adidas just had 58 pairs available on their US website.
While Adidas did not announce officially how many pairs of the Adidas Predator Precision football boots were launched, an image from boot specialists Soccer Cleats 101 reveals that the Three Stripes just had 58 pairs available on their US website, while the Ultra Boost had a Total Stock of 45 pairs.
In fact, the Adidas Predator Mania 2017 remake soccer cleats that dropped in May 2017 were limited to 2,500 pairs globally, and it is likely that the Adidas Predator Precision 2017 remake cleats were as strictly limited.
The result of Adidas' decision to release not more pairs of the boots is that resellers are trying to make money of them selling them for more than 500 USD on eBay.
Interestingly, Nike almost always announces how many pairs of a limited-edition release are available, and the Swoosh also revealed the exact numbers of their latest limited-edition launch, the Nike Flyknit Ultra (2,500 pairs of the limited-edition Nike Mercurial Ultra Flyknit Vapor were available in triple-black, and 1,500 pairs available in a black/metallic gold).
What do you think? Should Adidas make them not as limited? Should the Three Stripes announce how many pairs are available? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
