The new Chelsea 16-17 home kit was officially unveiled with an innovation for a top-level football club as Eden Hazard and Ruben Loftus-Cheek revealed the design live on Facebook. The new home kit will be debuted in the last Premier League home game of the season against Leicester City. Made by Adidas, the Chelsea 2016-2017 home, away and third kits also again feature Yokohama as main sponsor.
Chelsea 16-17 Home Kit
This is the new Chelsea home kit.
Based on the same template as the new Russia and Spain Euro 2016 home kits, the Chelsea 2016-2017 shirt comes in the club's traditional blue color, complete with a club-inspired all-over pattern of printed Chelsea lions. Inspired by the tradition and legacy of Chelsea FC, the Chelsea 2016-2017 jersey features a white v-collar with blue trim.
Just like on Adidas' Euro 2016 kits, the iconic three stripes are running down on both sides of the new Chelsea 16-17 home shirt. In terms of Yokohama sponsor logo, the unloved 'Tyres' annex has in the end not been dropped compared to this season's Chelsea home kit.
Completing the traditional blue-blue-white of Chelsea, the new Adidas Chelsea 2016-17 home kit shorts and socks are blue and white, respectively.
