Edinson Cavani, who is one of the faces of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III football boots, has totally surprisingly switched to the Nike Mercurial silo for Uruguay's 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Paraguay.

However, Cavani not only switched away from the Nike Hypervenom football boots to one Nike Mercurial soccer cleat, he even laced up in Nike's two different Mercurial models against Argentina (Nike Mercurial Superfly V & Nike Mercurial Vapor XI). This is a clear indicator that he was not completely happy with the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III and is looking for the perfect boot for him.
It is not the first time that Edinson Cavani has worn Nike Mercurial football boots as he already worn Nike's low-cut Nike Mercurial Vapor speed boot for two months, from November 2014 (when he switched from Adidas to Nike) until January 2015, when he switched to the Nike Hypervenom Phantom cleats.
