Nike is bringing football boot nostalgia to lifestyle sneakers with two new Nike Air Max 90 colorways inspired by iconic classic boots. Thanks to Sneaker Market Ro for the heads-up.
Nike Air Max 2026 Football Boots Pack
The Nike Air Max 90 2026 soccer pack boasts the looks of the Nike Total 90 Laser 1 from 2009 and the Nike Hypervenom 1 from 2013. Nike faithfully brought the designs to the Air Max, including an upper using elements from the classic cleats.
Nike Air Max 90 "Zest" (Total 90 Laser)
The first pair, the Nike Air Max 90 "Zest", draws directly from the iconic Nike Total 90 Laser football boots made famous by players such as Wayne Rooney and Luís Figo. It features a bright yellow base with black overlays and subtle red accents, along with Total 90-inspired graphics across the forefoot and heel.
Nike Air Max 90 "Bright Citrus" (Hypervenom I)
The second colorway, ike Air Max 90 "Bright Citrus", references the original Nike Hypervenom I football boots launched in 2013. The design uses a vivid orange upper with black overlays and a large Swoosh extending toward the toebox, echoing the aggressive look of the early Hypervenom models worn by Neymar.
Both sneakers are set to release on May 21, 2026, for $150 as part of Nike’s Summer 2026 lineup. This means that they are WAY cheaper than classic remakes - Nike prices lifestyle shoes not nearly as high as the best football boots.
