The new deal with Manchester United also means that Konami has lost its partnership with Liverpool FC - Konami is only allowed to have two Premir League teams licensed - these will be Arsenal and Man Utd in PES 2020.

The new long-term PES means that Manchester United is fully licensed in PES 2020 - Kits, 3D Player Scans and yes... Old Trafford is back in all its glory and better than ever!
According to the press release, Manchester United is created in Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 "using state-of-the-art technology, the game boasts the most detailed recreation of the club’s famous Old Trafford stadium seen yet. The current squad have also been created using a full-body 3D scanning process, providing players of the game with ultra-realistic avatars of their favourite United stars."
An exclusive Manchester United Club Edition of the game will also be available at launch.
Scott McTominay, Diogo Dalot and Victor Lindelof, all keen gamers in the United squad, attended today's launch event, where Konami projected life-sized holograms of their in-game characters on to the stage next to them. McTominay described his excitement for the new game’s release this autumn and his pride at being selected as an ambassador for it.
“It’s a real honour for me, and I’m really excited to get the partnership under way,” said the midfielder. “I’ve been playing the game a lot and the graphics look absolutely amazing.
“No matter what games we [the players] play, if it’s cards against Victor or a game on the PlayStation or XBOX, I fancy myself to be right up there! The best part of the game is you can play with your friends and you can bring a brand new game into the changing room. Not everyone will have played PES 2020 so it’s going to be exciting for the boys and hopefully we’ll get some good matches going.”
Lindelof added: “The game looks very nice. Even the tattoos on the players are very realistic, just like they are in real life. I love to play video games and it’s always fun to play with friends.”
eFootball PES 2020 will be available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, and PC STEAM, on 10 September (Americas/Europe/Asia) / 12 September (Japan) with pre-orders now available for the Standard and Legend Editions.
