It's Christmas in many regions of the world, reminding many of the good old (sometimes bad) times. Matching the nostalgia, these days brought us boot spots of legendary, now-retired players. In collaboration with Bootsclub, we break down the top boot spottings of the week.
1. Luis Figo – Nike T90 Laser III
It’s throwback vibes with football legend Luis Figo, who wore the Nike T90 Laser III. Released in 2010, the Boots came out the year after Figo ended his career. Figo wore the striking Neptune Blue/Vibrant Yellow/Black colorway, sure to stand out.
2. Thierry Henry – Puma Ultra 5 Carbon
Still representing Puma as a brand ambassador, Thierry Henry brought a modern twist to the mix, stepping out in the Puma Ultra 5 Carbon boots.
3. Brennan Johnson – Adidas 11pro
Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson sported the iconic Adidas 11pro boots. Synonymous with Kroos, these boots are set to make a comeback in 2025, possibly under a new name – TKpro – in a special edition colorway.

4. Fabio Cannavaro – Skechers Razor
Legendary Italian defender Fabio Cannavaro surprised fans by opting for Skechers Razor, a brand that didn’t even produce high-end football boots during his playing days. An interesting choice from the Italian defensive maestro.
5. Roberto Carlos – Adidas Predator 24 Tongue
Roberto Carlos returned to his roots of power football with the Adidas Predator 24 Tongue. Known for wearing Umbro, Nike, Mizuno, and Adidas throughout his career, Carlos now seems to prefer the most power-focused football boots of today. Whether it was his boots or sheer talent, his legendary shots over 100 km/h continue to inspire.
