Adidas has implemented distinctly different branding approaches between men's and women's football kits, as evidenced in this week's UEFA Women's Champions League matches.
Adidas Introduces Giant New Logo on Kits
Adidas Women's Kits Have Smaller Adidas Logos & Team Crests

While since 2024, men's kits feature significantly enlarged Adidas logos, women's versions maintain smaller, more traditional logo sizing. This is evident across clubs like Bayern Munich, Olympique Lyonnais, and the German national team.
No regulations require smaller logos on women's kits - this appears to be a deliberate design choice, likely considering the typically smaller frame of women athletes to maintain aesthetic proportions. The Bayern Munich crest is also reduced in size on women's kits, supporting this proportional design strategy.
Despite these differences in branding elements, names and numbers on the back of both men's and women's kits maintain consistent sizing across all teams.

This approach marks a departure from previous years when men's and women's kits featured more consistent design language in logo sizing and placement.
