Inter winger Antonio Candreva has become the latest player to give us an early look at the next generation of the Adidas Nemeziz, in this case the laceless 19+. Thanks to Botas de Jugadores for the heads-up.
Adidas will launch the next-gen Nemeziz 19 boots this summer. It's the third generation overall and the new Nemeziz cleats will once again be available with and without laces.
LEAKED: Next-Gen Adidas Nemeziz 19 Colorway + Tech Details + Release Date
The Adidas Nemeziz 19+ soccer boots worn by Candreva had been completely blacked-out to disguise their look and features, but there are still some interesting observations to be made.
The overall shape and construction of the Nemeziz was not touched by Adidas and the boots are of course still made in a way that draws inspiration from medical tape. Most of the tape construction is once again covered by a thin layer of synthetic, with only the top and center parts left open.
As for the sole plate, there are still seven studs in the front and four in the back, but the shape of the plate has been slightly altered and there's now a hint of an external heel counter.
The new Adidas Nemeziz 19 soccer boots are set for a launch in late May 2019, in time for the UEFA Champions League final. The launch colorway will be red / silver-metallic.
Earlier this year, Lionel Messi was spotted wearing blacked-out Nemeziz 19.1 boots in training.
