In March 2020, Adidas brought back the famous Japan Blue Adidas Predator Mania 2002 football boots. Now we can reveal that the Three Stripes brand will bring back another famous classic Predator cleat - the Adidas Predator Absolute XTRX from 2006.
'Japan Blue' Adidas Predator Mania 2002-2020 Remake Boots Released
Released in 2006 ahead of the 2006 World Cup, the Adidas Predator Absolute cleats were worn by the likes of David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Kaka, Raul, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. Back in 2006, the Predator Absolute were the lightest-ever Predators while maintaining the asymmetrical lacing and kangaroo leather upper of the Predator Pulse.
Adidas Predator Absolute 20 Football Boots - White / Black / Metallic Gold
Inspired by the possibly most stunning colorway of the original Adidas Predator Absolute XTRX, the Adidas Predator Absolute 20 boots will combine a white / black upper with gold applications. The official color combo is "White / Black / Metallic Gold".
Design-wise, the remake of the Adidas Predator Absolute XTRX should be very close to the classic cleats, similar to other recent Predator remakes.
Tech-wise, we expect the Adidas Predator Absolute 20 football boots to combine the classic upper of the Adidas Predator Absolute 2006 soccer shoes with the two-plate outsole of the Adidas Predator 20.
The Adidas Predator Absolute 20 football boots will be launched as limited edition in Fall 2020. We expect them to retail at 350 USD.
