Adidas Releases Authentic Kits for All National Teams
From 2026, Adidas releases authentic kits for all national teams. Previously, Adidas only released authentic kits for the top national teams (Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Argentina, Mexico and Japan).
This is a significant change from Adidas. In previous tournaments, the high-end, player-issue authentic kits were a privilege reserved only for their "Elite" teams.
The change surely also has to do with the difficult climate in the host nations.
- 2022 World Cup: Only 6 teams received authentic kits (Germany, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Belgium).
- 2024 Euro/Copa America: The same list, with the addition of Italy.
- 2026 World Cup: ALL Adidas-sponsored teams, including Peru, Colombia, Sweden, Scotland, Wales, Chile, etc., received the top-tier authentic kits (featuring Climacool+ technology) to wear in North America.
The official Adidas 2026 kit is called 'Climacool +' instead of the previous 'Heat.Rdy'.

ALL authentic versions for the "smaller" federations are available for public purchase, retailing at 150 USD, 50 USD more than the replica.
