AS Roma today announced the addition of a second sponsor following Qatar Airways towards the end of last season.
The Giallorossi have agreed a three-year partnership with the South Korean car manufacturer, which will see the Hyundai logo present on the back of the Roma shirts until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
“We are delighted to be announcing our new partnership with Hyundai, one of the most successful automotive companies in the world,” said Guido Fienga, chief operating officer at AS Roma.
Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing & Product at Hyundai Motor Europe, said: “This partnership is another major milestone for Hyundai and adds to a growing list of domestic football sponsorships in capital cities across Europe following our deals with Chelsea FC, in London, Club Atlético de Madrid and Hertha Berlin."
