Several Nike Women's National Team World Cup kits debuted in the past few days following their official release on April 3, 2023.
Nike 2023 Women World Cup Kits Debuts
This year's FIFA Women's World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July until 23 August and the Swoosh have several nations wearing American-based company jerseys. Nike officially released all of the World Cup teams' jerseys in early April, giving them opportunities to try out and showcase the kits in recent international friendlies or mini-tournament just before the World Cup kick-off. Check some of the kits that have made their on-pitch debuts below.
All Nike 2023 Women's World Cup Kits Released
Norway women's national team showcased their Nike 2023 World Cup away kit during their recent international friendly against Spain on April 7. The dashing new white kit didn't give the Grasshoppers much luck in that friendly as they suffered a 4-2 defeat.
Released around the same time as Norway's new kits, the Lionesse debuted their World Cup home jersey in the Finalissima's clash against Brazil on April 6th at the Wembley Stadium. England Women's new kit seems to give them a positive start as they won the game between recent European and South American champions, 4-2 after a penalty shootout.
As it was mentioned above, Brazil Women's national football team played against England in the finallisima clash on April 6th. Unfortunately, the South American champion didn't come out as winner as they lose 4-2 in the penalty shootout.
The USWNT debuted their new Nike 2023 World Cup kit this past weekend during a friendly against North Ireland which the home team won by 2-0. As they continue their preparation for the summer Women's World Cup, UWSNT will once again play the same opponent in the upcoming midweek friendly.
France Women's national football team debuted their Nike 2023 World Cup jerey in their latest international friendly against Colombia. Les Blues came out victorious in with a a mssive 5-2 victory over their opponent, giving that positive morale boost ahead of the major tournament.
Netherlands Women's squad also debuted their new 2023 World Cup kit this past weekend as they were battling Germany. Andrien Jonker's men were not all happy to debut their new jersey as they were beaten 1-0 in that international friendly clash.
The co-host, Australia wore their 2023 Away World Cup kit in their latest international friendly fixture against Scotland this past weekend. It was not the best experience for the Matildas's as they went on losing that match 2-0.
Korea Women Home and Away Kits
The Korea Women's national squad already debuted both of their 2023 World Cup home and away jerseys in the last few days. The Taeguk Ladies wore their Nike home kit this past weekend against Zambia in a friendly match that ended 5-2, while the away shirt was worn earlier today also in a friendly match against the same opponent which they won 5-0.
China Women's national team debuted their Nike 2023 World Cup Away shirt during their latest international friendly encounter against Switzerland. Although the Steel Rose didn't come away with a victory they did manage to put on a positive vibe in the goalless draw.
