Created in Under Armour's innovation lab, the boots are made from 70% sustainable materials. In the vein of traditional football boots, they feature a soft leather upper that was made via a new process involving vegetable-tanning. Additionally, the UA logo at the rear was laser-etched, while all of the outsole, laces and heel counter are made from recyclable materials.

Under Armour has not announced whether the unique Earth Day boots will go on sale, but said they were tested by UA-signee and Real Salt Lake defender Chris Wingert.
