There are not many players who have been in the game for more than 20 years, and there is only a handful of players who have been on the highest level for two decades. In cooperation with Football Kit Archive, we take a look at the shirt history of one of football's legends - Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Zlatan Ibrahimović Kit History
Zlatan Ibrahimović has had not only an impressive career but has also played for very many different big clubs. His football shirt history greatly shows off how designs of different brands and teams evolved in the first two decades of the 2000s.
Zlatan did wear kits from four brands - Adidas, Nike, Puma and Umbro.
Zlatan began his career at the Swedish club Malmö, which were supplied by Nike around the millennium. The Malmö Nike kits were nothing extraordinary but pretty standard Nike designs for that time.
Zlatan moved to Ajax and Adidas in 2001, while he returned to Nike kits with his transfer to Juventus in 2003. He should wear Nike kits for his next two clubs as well, Juventus and Barcelona.
After his transfer to Milan, he wore Adidas kits for two years, while he returned to Nike with his PSG transfer. After his move to Manchester United in 2016, Zlatan again played with Adidas, which also supplied his next club, LA Galaxy.
Since 2020, Zlatan is playing for Milan again - the first time that he is wearing Puma kits.
For Sweden, Zlatan did wear Adidas and Umbro (Sweden kit maker between 2004-2012) kits.
In total, Zlatan did wear kits from four different brands only - Adidas, Nike, Puma, and Umbro.
