Napoli Kappa x Marcelo Burlon Kit - On-Pitch

Kappa have teamed up with fashion designer Marcelo Burlon on a double of special-edition football shirts for SSC Napoli.

Napoli will wear the kits on April 18 against Inter

Napoli will wear these kits on April 18 against Inter. One is designed for the outfield players (black) and the other for the goalkeepers.

Marcelo Burlon is the creative mastermind behind Milan-based fashion label Marcelo Burlon.

Burlon was born in the Patagonia region of Argentina and moved to Italy as a teenager. As Argentinain, he has a special bond with Maradona and, therefore, with Naples.

The first of the two shirts is black with Burlon's trademark bird design applied to the upper front and sleeves of the shirt.

The special Kappa x Marcelo Burlon logo can be seen on the right chest of the shirt.

The Napoli badge on the shirt is recolored in black and white, similar to what the club displayed across their social media after the death of Diego Maradona last November. This prompted local newspaper Il Reformista to speculate about a connection, but we think that this is unlikely.

Black shorts and turquoise socks complete the kit.

The second shirt is yellow with the graphic applied in blue.

The shorts and socks are both yellow here, too.

The Kappa x Burlon Napoli kits and collection will be available to buy soon likely.
