The first 2018 release of the Nike Magista Obra II, also the first to feature the new 'DF' (short for Dynamic Fit) suffix, introduces a bold design in 'Dark Grey' and 'Total Orange'. The cleats are set to be launched on January 29, 2018.

The first colorway to be launched with the new name, Magista Obra II Elite DF, this one is Dark Grey, fading towards Total Orange in the back. The sole plate is completely orange, as is most of the Dynamic Fit collar. Rounding off the bold look of the 'first-ever' Nike Magista Obra 2 Elite DF is a black Swoosh with a iridescent finish and a white outline.
Tech-wise, the first 2018 edition of the Nike Magista Obra II cleats is identical to all previous colorways, including the trademark one-piece Flyknit upper and the characteristic 'Ball Texture' for an improved touch. This is expected to be one of the last paint jobs before the launch of the third generation of the Magista Obra in time for the World Cup.
