Charleroi Sign Kit Deal With Decathlon's Kipsta - No More Kappa

Jupiler Pro League outfit, Charleroi announced that they have signed a three-year kit deal with Kipsta, starting from the 2023/24 season.

Charleroi End Five-Year Partnership With Kappa

That new deal marked the end of The Zebra’s five-year collaboration with Italian-based manufacturer, Kappa as they now await a new future with the Decathlon’s football brand company.

Charleroi initially started its partnership with the Italian-based manufacturer in 2018 as they previously signed with Hungaria brand.

The Zebra will now hope for a more successful three-year adventure with a relatively new brand in the footballing world, Kipsta. Being part of Decathlon’s group, Kipsta have been growing significantly in recent years supporting teams in France and becoming the ball supplier for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Now they seem keen to extend their influence on the Belgium league as after collaborating with KV Ostend in 2020, the company got Charleroi as their next partner.

Commenting about the new partnership, the club’s managing director, Mehdi Bayat believes that they have made the right decision to sign with Kipsta. He also hopes that the two can grow together throughout their upcoming collaboration.

“In addition, Kipsta provides us with unparalleled follow-up and attention, which will allow us to grow together, hand in hand, with our supplier,” Bayat said.
