CSKA Sofia, the most successful club in Bulgarian football, will switch kit manufacturers next season. Adidas have sponsored the Bulgarian side since 2015, Macron will take over from the 2022-23 season.
The deal between the Italian sportswear brand and CSKA Sofia was confirmed yesterday in a statement on Macron's official website. This means the end of a seven year-long partnership with Adidas. As a result, Sofia will now receive bespoke jerseys for the first time since their deal with Legea, which ended after the 2014-15 campaign. Adidas started off providing CSKA Sofia with occasional miteam creations (Adidas' customization service), however, for the past two years, only basic Adidas teamwear was used.

With Macron, CSKA Sofia can expect a company that will put more time and effort towards the club's shirts. According to the Italian brand, representatives from CSKA and Macron designers are already working together to create jerseys that incorporate the team's colors, traditions and symbols. This is something that was lacking with Adidas, who shift their focus almost solely on the top teams.
