The Puma Portugal contract will start in January 2025, when the connection to the North American brand ends. This means Portugal will wear Nike kits in the Euro 2024 but Puma kits in the 2026 World Cup and future tournaments.

Nike, the sports brand of choice for the Portuguese team for since 1997, has been unable to match the irresistible offer presented by Puma. This break in their long-standing partnership holds significance, considering that Nike has been have brand dressing Cristiano Ronaldo, the iconic Portuguese star who continues to lead the team under Roberto Martínez.
