Argentina will return to black shorts in 2016, after both the 2014 World Cup and 2015 Copa America Argentina Kits featured an all-white look.
The Argentina national team has been wearing sky blue and white striped shirts since its first official matches in the 1900s. The classic look with black shorts and white socks, which was used for more than 100 years, will return after two years of a full white Argentina Kit.
Argentina 2016 Copa America Home Kit
The Argentina 2016 Home Shirt will be striped, with black shorts and white socks.
As the Argentina 2016 Home Shirt returns to be combined with black shorts, it will also celebrate Argentina's rich heritage of success with a "clean and puristic design", in line with the other Adidas 2016 Home Kits including Germany and Spain.
From the description, the Argentina 2016 Jersey will follow the foundations laid by the Argentina 2015 Copa America Kit rather than the more modern 2014 World Cup Argentina Shirt. Although, contrary to the Argentina 2015 Shirt, the Argentina 2016 Copa America Shirt will include black accents to add to the sky blue and white.
Set to be released in March 2016, the traditional Argentina 2016 Jersey will be worn at the 2016 Copa America Centenario, if the anniversary tournament takes place in the end. It's furthermore not expected that Adidas would also launch a new Argentina 2016 Away Jersey. Messi and Co. will instead continue to sport the 2015 Copa America Argentina Away Shirt.
