Ahead of tomorrow's kit launch, Liverpool FC have announced that it will be freezing the prices of their youth shirt and training kit ranges for the 2023-24 season.
Liverpool FC Announce Freeze on Youth Shirt and Training Kit Prices for 2023-24 Season
While there will be a £5 increase in adult stadium shirts "due to rising supply chain and operational costs", the majority of kids' kits, including shirts, shorts, and the popular training range consisting of tops, jerseys, and jackets, will remain at the same price for the second season in a row.
The price for the new Nike Liverpool 23-24 home kit will increase by six percent to £74.95, while the kids' jerseys will stay at £54.95.
Nike Liverpool 23-24 replica home kit
The price of the authentic Nike Liverpool 2023-24 home kit has not been announced yet, but we expect it to cost around £110 on Liverpool's website.
Liverpool 2023-24 Kit Prices
Replica Adult: 75 GBP (was 70 GBP)
Match Adult: ~110 GBP (was 100 GBP)
Kids: 55 GBP (was 55 GBP - unchanged)
Nike 2023-24 Kit Prices
Replica Adult: 80 GBP (was 75 GBP - 5 GBP more than Liverpool)
Match Adult: 125 GBP (was 115 GBP - 15 GBP more than Liverpool)
Kids: 60-65 GBP (was 60 GBP - 5-10 GBP more than Liverpool)
However, what is even more remarkable is that Liverpool will have lower prices both than Nike and independent retailers. The adult replica is £5 cheaper than it will be on Nike's website, and the Kids' version is also cheaper.
According to the club statement, Liverpool FC have taken the decision to absorb the majority of these costs instead of passing them on to supporters who purchase in LFC retail stores or through the club’s online retail presence.
Mike Cox, senior vice-president for retail and merchandising at LFC, said, "Rising costs are an issue across the board and no organization is immune. We wanted to prioritize the kids' kits and keep the same prices for the majority of our youth and training kit ranges for the second season in a row. We’re really pleased with the design of the new home kit and we can’t wait for supporters to see it."
